Phalanger doesn’t currently have reimplementation of the popular image extension, so you have to use native extensions if you want to use image functions. If you want better performance and safety, you can use the following functions implemented using classes in .NET:

- Download file from Web asynchronously: Similar to the example above, but the file is downloaded asynchronously and you will be notified using .NET event handler after download completes.
